Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you use this site, book an inspection, or hire Stonebridge Exteriors for work on your home.

Last updated August 4, 2026

These Terms apply to your use of the Stonebridge Exteriors website and to any inspection, repair or installation work we carry out for you. By using this site or hiring us, you agree to them.

"Stonebridge Exteriors", "we", "us" and "our" mean Stonebridge Exteriors, an exteriors contractor working across the Texas Hill Country. "You" means the person visiting this site or the property owner who hires us.

What we do

Roofing, gutters, siding, windows and masonry, together with storm and hail work and the documentation that goes with an insurance claim. Anything described on this site is general information about how we work, not a commitment about your particular house. What we will do, when, and on what terms is set out in your written scope and signed agreement, and those documents control if they conflict with anything here.

Inspections and scopes

Inspections are free and carry no obligation. A written scope is based on what we could see and reach on the day. Where something is hidden — decking under an intact roof, sheathing behind siding, the condition of a chimney flue — the scope will say how that item is handled once it is opened up, and no additional work is carried out without your approval in writing.

A scope holds for thirty days unless we say otherwise in writing. Material costs move, and an expired scope may need to be reissued.

Access and site conditions

To work safely we need access to the roof, the driveway and the ground around the house. You agree to:

  • Move vehicles, furniture and belongings out of the work area
  • Keep children and pets indoors while crews are on site
  • Point out anything on or near the roof that could be damaged, such as skylights, solar panels, satellite dishes, septic lids or irrigation heads

Tear-off shakes a house. We recommend taking fragile items off upper-floor walls and shelves before the crew starts.

Weather governs the schedule. We will move a start date rather than open a roof we cannot dry in the same day, and we will keep you informed when that happens.

Payment

Payment terms are set out in your signed agreement. Unless agreed otherwise, payment falls due on completion and after you have walked the work. Where a deposit is required it is applied to the final balance. If an invoice falls overdue we may pause further work until the account is current.

Insurance claims

We are your contractor, not your insurer, adjuster or public adjuster. We will document damage, meet your adjuster on site, and submit supplements with evidence where the approved scope omits necessary work. What your carrier approves is their decision, and nothing we say is a guarantee of any outcome. You remain responsible for your policy, your claim and your deductible, and we do not waive, rebate or absorb deductibles under any circumstances.

Warranty

Our workmanship warranty, its length, what it covers and what it excludes, is stated in your signed agreement. Manufacturer warranties on materials are provided by the manufacturer under their own terms; we register them where the system allows and give you the certificate.

No workmanship warranty covers later storm damage, fallen limbs, foot traffic, work by other trades on the same roof, alterations made after we finish, or ordinary weathering.

Cancellation

You may cancel a signed agreement within the period allowed by Texas law. Once materials are ordered and a crew is scheduled, cancellation may carry restocking and scheduling costs, which we will explain before anything is charged.

Using this site

You may use this site for your own, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to attempt to break its security, scrape it at scale, or reuse its text, photographs or design for a competing business. The content of this site belongs to Stonebridge Exteriors or our licensors.

Limitation of liability

We work carefully and we carry general liability and workers' compensation insurance. To the extent the law allows, Stonebridge Exteriors is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from this site or our services. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may update these Terms as our services or the law change. The date at the top of the page changes with them, and continuing to use the site afterwards means you accept the update.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of the county in which our office sits.
