Siding work by Stonebridge Exteriors in the Texas Hill Country

SidingThe wall behind it matters.

Fiber cement, engineered wood and insulated vinyl siding installed over a proper weather barrier, with rot found and fixed before a single panel goes back on.

What we do.All of it, in-house.

Fiber cement lap siding on a classic home

Fiber Cement

Our default here. It does not feed anything, it holds paint for years, and hail bounces off it. Blind-nailed, with the gaps kept off the flashing.

Warm wood-look siding on a dormer

Engineered Wood

A real wood face without the rot risk, primed and ready for whatever color the HOA will sign off on.

Clean vinyl lap siding up close

Insulated Vinyl

Quiet and colorfast, hung loose on purpose so it can move with the heat instead of buckling in August.

Crisp white trim and fascia against blue siding

Soffit, Fascia & Trim

Vented soffit where the attic needs intake air, and every edge wrapped so water has nowhere to sit.

Siding.How we build it.

The wall comes first. Siding is a rain screen, not a raincoat. What keeps water out of the framing is the weather barrier and the flashing behind it, so that is where we spend the first day.

Where walls actually fail. Almost never in the middle of a run. It is the transitions — a roof edge dying into a wall with no kick-out, a window head without a drip cap, a deck ledger lapped the wrong way — and by the time the paint shows it the sheathing has been wet for years.

The warranty

The crew behindthe warranty.

The manufacturer covers the board. We cover the installation in writing, which in practice means the flashing and the fastening — the two things that decide whether the board ever gets tested.
